Infinity #2, God: Infinitely Infinite
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 145:3
I hope you’ve had the chance to download the Mandelbrot program and have played around with it enough to get a greater grasp of the concept of infinity. Check out Infinity #1 blog if you haven’t gotten started on this.
The above verse brings out the concept of God being infinitely infinite. We were created as infinite beings, yet, even we ourselves will never be able to search out ourselves to the infinite depths. Whereas God can infinitely search out all of us. And God is so great that we will never even get close to searching to the depths of his infinity. Anyone who ever had the slightest thought that Heaven would be boring hasn’t a clue what infinite and exciting riches are in store for us as we delve into the depths of fellow believers, angels, and especially God in ways that are unimaginable.
The world tries to minimize who God is, who we are, and how awesome the rest of God’s creation is. There will be many things that start falling into place when you delve more and more into the infinite. Let your mind wander and explore when you play around with the Mandelbrot program. As it helps to reveal the magnitude of various Biblical concepts I can’t imagine that you wouldn’t be practically shouting out “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”
As the days go by I will bring up various facets God has blessed me with seeing. I look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to share what God has revealed to them.
Till next time, God bless.
Ralph
